3 More High School Wake Ups

So that was a fun morning assembly. Goodness I can’t wait to get out of this damn school. I suppose the silver lining is that that was the very last assembly with my HOY I’ll ever have… except for the graduation assembly we have on Friday that I’ll be leaving early from for rehearsals.

Every damn week he does the countdown.

Today he FINALLY brought up Prom and was like: “oh hey lol there’s a prom email going out tonight lol yeah do the form and get the cheque and bring it in tomorrow or else lol”. I want to throttle him.

Then he went on to talk about Muck Up Day and how it shouldn’t be called “Muck Up” Day and that we’re essentially getting rid of it thanks to last year’s cohort. Which is great. Not. One by one they’re whittling away our “Sixth Form Privileges”.

We have a fire drill during P2 so that should be interesting… today is pretty full on actually…

P1- Normal
P2- Fire drill
Break- Ladakh meeting + See HOY about acapella performance on Friday
P3- Concert rehearsals
P4- Normal (ughhhh it’s English… might try to skip it… but he has DEFINITELY seen me in school so I’ll need to be very careful about how I do this…)
Lunch- Choir rehersals
P5- Normal
P6- Normal (but I have an essay due in that I haven’t done, whoops)
Biology Tuition
Maths Tuition

And then I get to stop and breathe and TRY to get an English essay done for tomorrow. IBFML. No, I am the main reason I’m in this shitty position. I don’t know how to get my act together… I’ll sort it out somehow.

You guys were a bit funny yesterday, the searches that got you here were quite nice!

All except the marshmallow death one were quite sweet! 😛

Being Irresponsible

So last night I did a few things I really shouldn’t have. But lets start from the beginning…

Yesterday I had the medical lecture thing, it had its share of boring and funny parts (more funny than boring to be honest!). I didn’t realise such a large group of adults were coming with us. They’re all really nice and really funny, each has their own interesting story (one girl backpacked across 50 different countries because she was inspired by NatGeo- a lot of Asian countries, so it wouldn’t have been as mind-blowingly expensive as it sounds). She’s really nice, I think I might end up talking to her a lot on the trip.

So when that was over, Buiface (she’s going on the Ladakh trip with me so she was at the lecture too) and I went to buy my sister some filthy liquids (a.k.a. Smirnoff) because she gave me the money and was going to a party. We had froyo (yummm) and chatted for a while, but then she wanted to go shopping and I had to get the bottle to my sister so she could leave for the party.

While she was at the party, I went out to ‘Thai Express’ for dinner with two girlfriends. (I was half way to where we were going for dinner when I realised I’d left my keys at home and so I asked my sister to leave the doors unlocked or the keys out for me somewhere so I could get in later- I had no curfew and no idea what time I’d be home… the start of my irresponsibility- this plays a major part later. Anyway, my sister said yeah she’d leave keys out for me.) After that we MRT-ed it to Clarke Quay for drinks at Chuppitos, more friends joined us when we got there (including Chimmercharlie). I didn’t drink ’til Chimmercharlie showed up (then I had two shots because I’m getting braver/badass/embracing my adulthood or teenhood or whatever). I FOUND THE NAME OF THE SHOT I LIKE! It’s called the “Red Headed Slut”. I highly recommend it if you don’t like the taste of alcohol- I don’t like the taste and am highly aware of alcohol in drinks (people are lying when they say you can’t taste vodka), but I can hardly pick up the booze in this shot!

Anyway, after that we were approached and offered free entry and drinks at ‘Rebel’. Okay, anyone that lives in Singapore would know that ‘Rebel’ used to be attached to two other clubs- ‘Zirca’ and ‘Groove’. ‘Zirca’ is where anyone underaged goes (it was where I used to go- I loved it there! They had cages that moved up and down while you danced in them- SO MUCH FUN!) but because of that, people didn’t like going AND the police got involved once too many times and ‘Zirca’ was shut down. In fact, all three were. Or so I thought…

Apparently ‘Rebel’ was reopened (but now the entrance is where ‘Zirca’s entrance used to be- such a mind-fuck for people that know the club. I don’t understand how they moved ‘Rebel’ INTO ‘Zirca’… argh I don’t know how to explain it. It’s just really confusing… it’s like they rotated the actual floorplan and didn’t knock anything down…. it’s just too much for my mind haha… But anyway. They did. Here’s the interior:

It’s alright but there’s no moving cages… and in the case of last night… no people. Haha. So we hung around there for about 10 minutes (we had VIP stamps so we waited for it to get a bit exciting… it didn’t. Then again, it wasn’t really late yet).

Chimmercharlie then proclaimed that she wanted shots so her, one of the guys and I all left for Chuppitos again. I had two shots (yum) and then Chimmercharlie and I decided to go back and leave the guys there (another guy friend joined us) and on the way back we bumped into the girls who went to Chuppitos while we went to the bridge to prowl (the bridge is basically this “catwalk” where groups of people sit on the sides of the bridge and check out the girls walking through, at the same time the girls are walking through looking for hot guys to start talking to). We didn’t see anyone that we desperately wanted to go and talk to BUT we did get approached by a guy in a suit who offered us free entry and drinks at ‘Le Noir’.

Okay. Let me give you some background on ‘Le Noir’. Up until last night I’d never been because it’s supposedly really strict on I.D. (which isn’t a problem for me anymore) and because it’s where the teachers go clubbing. That’s my main reason for avoiding it. It’s where the teachers go. Seeing as the kids at my school have pretty much taken over every other club at Clarke Quay, I avoid ‘Le Noir’ out of respect for the teachers. There really isn’t anywhere else they can go. I always thought it was massively swanky and gorgeous on the inside. All the windows are blacked out and so all you can see from outside are the lights. ‘Le Noir’ is known for being a place for pretty people and I always thought it was out of my league.

So here was this guy telling us he could get us free entry! So of course we went with him.

I was surprised as hell when we got in. Not at the fact we’d gotten in, I’m 18 now, come on. No, I was surprised because it was TINY… and I mean tiny.

‘Zirca’ was huge! I mean, it’s three clubs combined, it had a massive dance floor right in the middle of the club. I thought it was great! Then I was “upgraded” to Attica (I always thought ‘Zirca’ was better than ‘Attica’ because it’s a waaay nicer space) because I was of age. ‘Attica’, I’ve always complained, is tiny. The dancefloor would probably fit 25 people… 50 at a crush… It has two floors so I guess that makes it okay, but I don’t like ‘Attica’ as much as I liked ‘Zirca’. BUT GOODNESS- if ‘Attica’ is small then ‘Le Noir’ is MIDGET. Seriously. I didn’t even see a dance floor. Maybe we didn’t explore it enough, but from where I stood there was no dancefloor. WHAT THE HELL IS THE POINT OF A CLUB WITH NO DANCEFLOOR?

Inside ‘Le Noir’:

Look, I’m not saying it’s not luxurious. The interior is gorgeous! But it really came across as a club for older people (not OLD people… just older. Like teachers.). *Sigh* So that was a little disappointing.

After that Chimmercharlie and I sat on the bridge for 15 minutes before deciding to go home (the rest had already left- but out of 5 of them, 4 had gone to one of our guyfriend’s house). I texted my friend and asked if I could join them at his house (he lives a 5 minute walk away from my house so I wasn’t going miles out of my way), she said sure. Chimmercharlie had to go home though- she had tuition this morning- SUCKAAAA hahahahaha.

So I showed up at the house at about 1-1:30am? I can’t remember the exact time, I just know we left Clarke Quay at around 12:30-12:45… Whatever, it’s irrelevant. To pass the time we decided to play a few cheeky games. Let’s just say… I’m  glad I’ve known all these people for YEARS. Seriously. I’ve never laughed so hard. It was so much fun.

I’ve been given the new nickname “Supergirl”. It’s like the 5 of us are part of some sort of pact because we just look at each other and laugh knowingly.

So, so, so, so much fun. We swore that what happened in that room, STAYED in that room. So I’m not at liberty to share, unfortunately for you all 😉 haha

At 3am we called it quits and all went home.

So here’s where the night got… well… interesting to say the least. My sister had left the keys out for me. BUT the keys she left out only unlocked the gate and not the sliding door. Effectively, I was locked out. So I texted her about 500 times and when that didn’t work, I called her again and again and again. She had been up an hour before (I’d been texting her, she said she’d stay up until I got home).

At about 3:30am I knew I had no other choice and I had to phone and wake up my helper.

I have no idea how much trouble I’m going to be in when my parents fly in tonight. Seriously. I had a story all lined up for my helper when she opened the door (my sister is now in on it too so hopefully our allied front will work against the wrath of my parents). I’m a little nervous, but I’m praying to whatever is out there that my helper doesn’t tell OR that my parents don’t kill me.

My sister felt so guilty that she did all the chores (including mine) and woke me up when I’d asked her to. I’m not furious with her, just a little miffed. I don’t know why I’m not more mad. I should be… but she felt so bad that I really can’t be mad at her. So now we’ve just got to wait for the fall out to hit.

I’m at school now, working. I have SO MUCH WORK due in tomorrow. Yesterday was a really bad idea (as far as responsibilities go)… and now I need to work my ASS off to fix this.

So yeah.

Hope my escapades last night made you smile, I had a blast! Time to work though!

Long Day

Long Day

So not everything today went to plan…

First off, my friend couldn’t meet me for lunch because she had an appointment, which really sucks but what can you do… we’re trying to rearrange for tomorrow (fingers crossed!!)

Uhmmm, what else… went to English. Boring as batshit. More exam stuff. *Rolls eyes*

Oh! I bumped into my ever-lovely Chemistry teacher who, in the space of 2 sentences, intimated that I’d skipped class this morning… yeah… a self study class in which she can’t answer our questions… I’m **really** missing out there. Anyway, I put her in her place and told her I’d been sick and only come in at break. God I can’t STAND that woman -.-

What else… I had Classics rehearsals. I didn’t finish the speech in time but she liked what I presented so I have to hand over the polished version by Friday.

Uhmm… After that I had a Ladakh meeting! Once again, boring as shit. It was pretty pointless. We showed up with parents and watched the exact same hour long powerpoint that they’ve shown up EVERY SINGLE OTHER TIME they’ve presented to us. It was led up by Mr. Asshole, so naturally I was in a good mood -.-

So yeah, after that my dad took me to buy a Ladakh journal, which I have started writing in. (Only stuff relating to Ladakh, so I’ll only write on the days we have Ladakh meetings or whatnot.)

We have our first lecture with the Medical Team on Saturday afternoon. I’m excited for the trip… not so much Mr. Asshole and the Head Bitchy in my English class (they’re both on the trip with me… one of them isn’t coming home with me…).

OH! Good news! My awesome, awesome, AWESOME Philosophy teacher is coming with us on the trip! YAY! So I reckon I’ll stay glued to her side throughout and with any luck I’ll avoid double homicide! (Y)

We gave her a lift after the Ladakh meeting. Goodness, she is so lovely. :3

What else…

I have some work to do. Due today, naturally… There was something else though…

I’m taking my sister out drinking this weekend! WOO! Hahaha! Talk about being an irresponsible guardian! Haha!

It’s the norm here in Singapore for expat kids around the age of… 16? Sometimes earlier… to go clubbing. I don’t drink, personally. But, my freshly 16 year old sister DOES (not alcoholic-style, she just likes alcohol more than I do…).

I was allowed to go clubbing for the first time when I was 16, so it’s only fair that SHE be allowed to as well. I gave one condition: I must be the first to take her out.

So it is! She isn’t clubbing, she’s just coming to Chuppitos with a few of her friends and I’m going with a few of mine. It should be nice! I’m making her give me $15 as a provisor (I’m gonna buy her a Blow-Job-Shot!! 😀 hurhurhur, I’m such a good big sister XD).

So yeah.

It’s been a nice day, a bit lazy, a bit stressful. *Sigh*

My mum flew out to a sports competition this morning, so it’s just dad and my sister and I at home. We all watched “Up” with dinner. Such a lovely family evening. But I have to catch-up the work I’ve neglected all day now… oops haha!

Post-Exam Surprise (Warning: Rant)

Post-Exam Surprise

So today was eventful. I’m dying. So tired that my face hurts. I don’t want to go to school tomorrow, I’m not ready to see anyone… UGH

I have TOK and Philo Plans to do before I can go to bed though… still no sign of my Philosophy folder *sobs*

I have a meeting and a rehearsal in my first period “free”… I don’t know if I’ll even be able to walk.

My participation in the Classics Symposium is a mere week and a half away… I want to cry because I want so badly to do well that I can’t stand the pressure I put myself under. I haven’t studied the play “Pseudolus” for the last year like the others have. I’ve had Chinese every time they’ve had Classics. I haven’t given myself the time to fully prepare a speech on my EE for the evening either.

I want to do SO MUCH, but there is nothing I can do… but there is. ARGHHH

And because my freaking Chemistry teacher is such a fucking waste of space and oxygen, we have an extra Chemistry session on Saturday morning at 9am. No sleep in. No time to catch up the sleep I’m missing. I have 22 school days left and I can hardly keep my eyes open long enough to listen.

I am so tired of everything and everyone.

At least something good that has come of today is I FINISHED MY CHINESE ORAL EXAM! WOO! (The “downside”- if it can really be called a “downside”- is that I wanted a level 7 (approx 23/25)… she said off the bat she thought it was probably a 22/25 overall. I wanted to cry or hit something.)

What else… oh yeah, I went to the dentist. Had an x-ray (exciting stuff)… apparently all my wisdom teeth are about to come out.

So naturally I will have to get them ALL REMOVED. Apparently. Shoot me. This is not good.

When will it happen? Oh, just 2-3 days after I finish my exams! GRRRR! So I finish IB exams on the 17th, celebrate that night and Saturday… the surgery is on Monday. They say I’ll pretty much be bed-ridden for the next 2 or 3 days after that… and my face. Wow. I can’t even begin to imagine what it’ll look like.

It’s so close to post-exams because it’ll (supposedly) give me enough time to rest up before Ladakh.

I have 56 days until my exams start and 3 entire science topics untouched. My revision is…. not even started really.

I want to say I’m going to stay up until I have the damn TOK and Philo plans done… but I really think I’ll collapse tomorrow if I do. You know how- all those months back- my basketball team won SEASAC? Yeah, tomorrow lunchtime we are having a “celebratory lunch with the Head of the entire School”. Bit late, it’s a nice gesture though. My problem? My mother and sister will be there. I am the only IB kid on the entire team and I will look like death.

I don’t even like most of the girls on my basketball team. What the hell am I going to do at this lunch? I guess I survived an entire weekend with them, this won’t hurt too much in comparison.

OMFG EVER SINCE THE DENTIST I AM NOW HYPER-AWARE OF MY WISDOM TEETH AND THE PAIN IS GIVING ME A HEADACHE… or maybe that’s just the lights… or the tiredness… or the desperate urge to cry… or all of it. I am so close to giving up, throwing the desk over and scream “fuck this shit, I’m out”, or just leaving in the middle of a class with a teacher I hate.

I am too un-organised for my own good. I am the reason behind my slow and painful demise. I am putting myself too much at risk. The reward does not seem to justify the struggle I’m putting myself through.

I want the fun stuff at the other end of the exams. I want the clubbing and partying and school trips and graduation and prom and the graduation trip…. I CAN’T AFFORD IT. I have no idea where the freaking money is going to come from (short of taking it from my Greece Funds…. which I can’t bring myself to do, I just couldn’t because that would be well and truly giving up on my dream. I know it won’t happen this year, but I can’t abandon all hope just yet…).

Clubbing will cost about….. ~$20 per night I go out
Ladakh is a lot of money (even with the grant)
Graduation Prom will be at least ~$150 (and I don’t even have a dress or ANYTHING at this point)
Graudation After-Party is… $120 if I remember correctly
Phuket is $545… only for flights and accommodation. No food or general spending is included in that price.

Altogether I’m looking at… what… $855 minimum (excluding Ladakh, Prom dress, any accessories with Prom, if we have to pay for Graduation Gowns/Hats, an After-Prom dress (probably not going to get one, but just in case) and anything I may need as spending money in Phuket) in TWO MONTHS. TWO! T-W-O! That’d would nearly clean out my entire Greece Fund if it came out of my pocket. My parents will help me with the money and all… Graduation should be from them I think, but extras will be my issue.

Fuck it. Fuck it all. I just want my Philosophy folder so I can do my work and go to bed. I hate IB. I hate my life (I’m ungrateful and worthless, I recognise that). I can’t wait to just leave this all behind me as a distant memory. The sad thing is that I know it doesn’t get any easier from here on out.

Tuesday Thus Far…

Tuesday Thus Far...

So far- I don’t want to jinx this- I haven’t been berated for any late homeworks (yay!). I just completely screwed up my mock religion paper in Philosophy.

I’m in English now, we’re going to start watching “A Streetcar Named Desire” in about 3 seconds… what makes me happier right now (yes, keep in mind that I am a horrible, terrible, bitchy person)? The girl I can’t stand is sitting less than half a foot in front of me (-.-) but she’s not wearing any make-up and I’d like to think she looks worse than I do. Hurhurhur. I’m not fabulously gorgeous, but at least I can get away with not wearing make up 24/7.

Anyway, I’m already feeling guilty for writing that about her (I don’t like her and all, but I would hope that there aren’t people out there writing nasty things about me just because they don’t like me either…)

OH MY JEEZ! I HATE MY ENGLISH TEACHER! He’s talking right now and he’s just said something to make my blood boil. He thinks that it is NOT ONLY okay, but NECESSARY to say that our Text in Translation essays have just been sent to FREAKING LEBANON. WHY? I didn’t need to know that? No-one fucking WANTED to know that? Oh my good god I can’t stand this man! UGHHHHHH!!

What’s worse? I HAVE TO CLIMB A MOUNTAIN WITH HIM! THREE WHOLE WEEKS IN CLOSE PROXIMITY WITH THIS ASSHOLE! I swear to whatever is out there, one of us ain’t coming back from this freaking trip (and I can promise you now, the missing person won’t be ME).

Ugh. He better put the film on right now so I don’t just storm out. It’s really frustrating because he keeps showing up freaking EVERYWHERE! I had Biology this morning- he poked his head in the door. Pretty much every time I have Philosophy- he shows up. I wish I could just be blindly in love with this school like I was this time last year. Grrrrrrr!

Mufti And Juice

Mufti And Juice

I am so gross it’s not funny. I just sat through an assembly where one of the teachers I hate most talked to me directly for about 10 minutes straight. Even “worse” (well it was funny to be honest) was the photo they used of us winning just so happens to be our “joke photo”…

Our school is famous for our head tilts and last year UWC made fun of us by doing their own, more extreme, “head tilt” photo. So when we won it was more of a “in your face” kind of photo- we were doing the head tilt as a joke… apparently the school doesn’t understand… I suppose there were only 2 people (my co-captain and I) that “got the joke” so to speak. it was hilarious (for us).

Today’s mufti is raising money for the medical supplies for Ladakh. Hopefully it’ll help us, I know that mufti generally brings a hella lotta money in. Yeah.

Well… hopefully I won’t pass out today. My parents don’t believe I’m “really that sick” so it’s flu tablets and swift dismissal for me. Really don’t feel like going to many classes today. Have to do my Philosophy IA at some point…

Night Before SEASAC

Night Before SEASAC

Nerves have vanished… Not a good sign.

This is it. My last ever school sports trip. The last time I represent my school outside of Singapore. It’s all ending so fast I don’t know what to do with myself. I feel a bit like Katniss, I’ve primped and shaved and done all the necessary clean ups before a big competition. I’m unfit as hell, so I’m actually more unprepared than she was, whatever.

What else happens tomorrow? Oh yeah, only my ALUMNI GRANT MEETING! D:

So now I have to go memorize a 60 slide powerpoint on this trip…

Originally I’d planned to go around my classes and get as many mock results back as I could in my free first thing tomorrow… now I think I’ll just spend an hour in the library freaking out, trying harder to memorise stuff than I had for my mocks…

Thank god the whole “Mocks” ordeal is over though! Such a relief to be clear of those woods. I know I did really badly, but I honestly don’t care right now (read: I’ll probably have a melt down later…………… who knows… I don’t… life… IB… what even -.-)

So yeah, my bags are packed and by the door. I just have to remember to bring Fluke (my penguin- he comes everywhere with me. I’m an 18 year old kid, judge away, at least I have a bedmate :P)

As I said whenever ago, I’m not sure about internet in the hotel we’ll be at… with any luck there WILL be internet… There’s so little that I know. Ugh. Hate not being in control (I know I could take control if I actually tried a little harder. But. Effort. No.)

I’m thinking about bringing a movie to watch in the hotel room with my co-captain. Dunno though, my laptop is really crappy when it comes to movies. It hates everything, haha. I think the only movies it plays are “A Fish Called Wanda” and “Pirates of Penzance”… the denominator in both being the excellent, the wonderful, the amazing Kevin Kline! 😀

As much as I LOVE those movies… I don’t think my room mate has the same tastes… she’s more your “Gossip Girl” type. *Sigh*

I’ve known this girl for years and she really is one of the sweetest and funniest girls you’ll meet… but she doesn’t read. I used to be really in with that friendship group… but then I started to distance myself from them and began to hang out more with the kids that played D’n’D on a Friday Night for fun, rather than Friday Night Sushi Nights.

I don’t really fit in on the team. I’m the oldest there, my co-captain/ roommate is in my year, true, but we’ve got more different than similar in interests. Sure you can see the silver lining and just talk about the similar interests… but it’s an easily exhausted set of topics. Then what?

She doesn’t like reading. She doesn’t like philosophy. She doesn’t like k-pop. I don’t know. She’s sounding quite 2-dimensional here, I promise she’s not. It’s just that her interests are very different (that’s not necessarily a bad thing, but it doesn’t really help on the bonding side of things).

We’ll make it work, it’s what our school teaches us best. To be political. To make nice. But I can’t help but feel like an outsider during training or on trips. The whole team is like my roommate, in fact, they’re all younger versions of her (more or less).

The team consists of us two captains, then our younger sisters and all their mates, then the younger sister of her boyfriend. Yeah. I know I’m only as involved as I allow myself to be, but I genuinely find it mind-numbing to sit with them sometimes. They, the younger ones, have such wild misconceptions about my interests. They’re more interested in laughing AT me than WITH me. I’m like an animal at the zoo that they like to pay attention to every so often, but only to poke fun at it.

I’m not into fashion, or drinking, or that god-awful show “Vampire Diaries”. Whenever I try to join in the conversation I just come across as trying too hard or being condescending. There is no middle ground. I’m either watching them on the periphery, pretending I get along with them, or being ignored. I’m not very good at tolerating idiots, or at least, idiotic ideas.

I really hope they don’t see this blog. I don’t think they ever will, but for the sake of saying it, I really hope they don’t.

The next 4 days will be interesting. Can’t wait to play, at the same time I’m scared shitless because it’s my *last* SEASAC, my *last* school sports trip, my *last* basketball competition…. (well not really, the school league hasn’t finished yet, but we’ve won all those games and have one to go when we get back before the semi’s and the finals.)

Anyway. I better start reading up on this powerpoint and making notes of points to bring up. I have so much work to do over the trip… I have to FINISH my CAS, my EngLit freaking “Perfume” essay (still… *grit teeth*), and my Philosophy IA. They need to be in by next Friday. I think I promised my English teacher that I’d have the “Perfume” essay in by Monday……………..

I should probably pick out a nice burial site for my poor body when this is all done. I just don’t think I’ll cope. “Cloud Atlas” better still be in the freaking cinemas next week, it’s pretty much all that’s keeping me going. Either Thursday or Friday next week I’m going to see it again, for the third time, fuck yeah. Can’t wait, but I’m worried it’ll be taken out of cinemas on Wednesday… they do the movie schedule change overs on Thursday.

We’ll see. But first. Ladakh. Alumni Grant. Revise. Gah.

PS- Oh sweet jaysus, I’m missing another Sports Council Meeting. Ugh. I’m supposed to be the responsible one in charge. We’re a week off half-term and we’ve not yet had a SINGLE COUNCIL MEETING since we go back! I have to do that damn assembly on the Council in February! Ugh! Ugh! UGH!

AHHHH!!! Just finished watching it, homigod it’s funnier than I remember it being… some of the lines aren’t very audible, but you get the idea!

The Christmas Panto is a Year 13 privilege (as it’s our last year at school before we graduate and head on to Uni). It’s traditionally very dirty but the teacher that I play (I am the “cake is forbidden” lady) is “cleaning up” the whole panto thing. We have to get all our scripts vetted by the teacher I roleplay as… Last year this resulted in a terrible show… this year however, it got really good reviews.

The show is basically our opportunity to give our honest opinions of the school, what we like or don’t like etc. It’s all pretty political for us as students, however I hope the humour still translates to all of you! (Some bug bears in the school: no 100+ until after school at 3pm (it’s a sports isotonic drink for anyone that doesn’t know), short skirts, undershirts with logos on them, hair down- the hair lice thing was making fun of the fact that the teachers told us that there had been an outbreak of hair lice and having your hair down for even a second could induce a hair lice catastrophe on par with WW3… yeah. My school is slightly anally retentive…)

Bad news, the teacher I portray in this show is the one I have to impress in order to get my Alumni Grant for Ladakh… whooops haha

Anyway, watch, enjoy, laugh! 😀

As for me, it’s back to revision!

A Quick Minute

A Quick Minute

Have to go shower for tuition… but on a quick note: I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed a game quite as much, I mean, we lost by 11 and all, that’s fine because the team was genuinely better than us (the Varsity team :S haha). We were expecting to lose, I got smashed in the head at one point… I hope it bruises but I basically never bruise so I doubt it will haha. But yeah, the game was good! Tough play, which only made the shots we did make feel that much better! 😀

Had the Grant meeting today, I have an interview for the Ladakh Grant next Friday! Wish me luck! The bullshit that will pour from my mouth will make Niagara Falls look like a stream off a pebble. Yeah. It’s gon b gud. :3

Anyways, I better be off! 🙂

Uncle and co. are coming over for dinner tonight, they leave tomorrow before I get home from school so this’ll be the last time I see them for goodness knows how long. To be honest, now that I’m graduating it’ll probably be a lot more often than I anticipate… 😛
